Strong reasons lead to success

 

Why do you need to be successful? When I ask you this question, you might think that success is essential to lead a luxurious life, to become famous, to have the freedom to do what we love, to earn the respect and recognition from others, etc... 

Everyone is aware that it is not easy to be successful. Let's list some known success methods and ideas. 

 We need to manage our time,  be consistent and confident, we need to have a positive attitude and mindset to think towards our goals, need to learn a lot, work hard, never give up until we succeed, stay focused on our goals, and stay committed to them. These are some of the known methods that I have shared on our blog.

You may follow many principles and strategies to attain success. by answering the first question. We can reap our goals and desires easily. 

Let's look into a remarkable historical event. David was a shepherd and musician, he used to play music while rearing his flock. He was an Israelite and he was the youngest child in his family. When he was 15, Philistia waged war against Israel. His brothers went for the battle, after a few days his father sent him to the camp to see his brothers. 

He reached the camp and met his brothers, the Israelites and Philistines were facing each other. He asked his brothers how they were. As he was talking with them a giant called Goliath who was about 9 feet tall and wearing a bronze helmet and armor, holding a long sword stepped out from his lines and cursed Israel and their God. 

He shouted at the officials of Israel and the King and asked them for a duel. He challenged them to defeat him. On hearing his words the King and the others were dismayed and terrified. The King announced that he will give great wealth to the man who kills Goliath. Everyone was afraid to come for the duel.

David sought permission from the king. The king and the other officials were amazed. He is neither a warrior who fought in many battles nor had taken any practice to handle swords or any other professional war training.  

They laughed at him and said we were won many wars and killed many warriors on the battlefields. We are afraid of Goliath because he is not a man, he is a giant. 

He pleaded to the King to grant permission,  he convinced him, and went to the battlefield without taking any swords or wearing any armor. He just took some pebbles from the stream. All of them were gloating over David. He hit the stone at Goliath's head with his sling and he was dead. 

Everyone was astonished and stunned. They didn't expect it and there is no possibility for it. After a few years, David became King of Israel and he created a legacy. 

How did David defeat Goliath? 

 He answered our first question: why do you need to succeed? 

 David won the duel because he had a good reason to defeat him. He was nothing more than a shepherd, but he did not even wield the sword of war. He won the duel with a determination to succeed. 

No matter who you are or what you have. If you have a strong reason to achieve something, you will achieve it. Analyze your goals and ask yourself why you have to succeed and how important it is. 

 When there was no good reason to perform a task. It doesn't make sense to work hard for it. This is the time to evaluate your goals, be determined to get that.
